Oh well, stuck with the mouse... Or the 3-stroke key combinations. <LOL>

I don't think you are ever truly *stuck* with those, because even if
the application you're trying to customize (in this case, RDi) does
not support your desired keystrokes, you can always resort to using a
separate, independent hotkey facility.

I use AutoHotkey myself.

There is *a lot* that AHK can add to one's workflow; not just with RDi,
but everywhere one uses a keyboard or mouse.

I'm a little surprised Buck hasn't mentioned it already, because I
know he is familiar with it.

Yes, I like and use AHK, but my colleagues are disinclined to do so.
I've become accustomed to relaying shortcuts that can be handled within
RDi to accommodate them better.

I've basically given up proselytising my tool chain. Everyone seems
worn out hearing about regular expressions, macros, and hot key
managers. Instead of actively pushing, I now simply use these things,
and more. If my colleagues find one or more useful, I'm sure they'll
ask. I'm imagining that I'm leading by example, and it may even be
true. Many people need multiple exposures to something new before it
stops being off-putting...

Anyway, here on the RDi list, I'm trying to embrace an RDi solution
whenever possible. Wish me luck!
