I apologize if you already looked here, but just in case, to show the date area:
Right-click RPG Source to get the pop up menu.
Cursor over the Source menu option and then it's pop up menu has "Show Date Area" as the last item.

I'm able to toggle mine on and off.

I forgot how to Find by Date since I never do it, so I couldn't test that.

RDi 9.5 appears to be properly updating the source for date changed, but I can't Show Date Area and Find Date doesn't work. Is anyone else seeing this?
