I guess it is the fault of eclipse, and I must learn to IGNORE it. It is not worth the aggravation. Just restart eclipse/RDI, and continue on.
If I can manage someone way to repeat it, then I will open a PMR case with IBM for resolution.
Developing with a professional I.D.E. is so much better than in a C.L.I. (Command Line Interface), a.k.a. SEU.
I love RDI, and cannot imagine developing without it. Just restart and continue on! It just can be aggravating when I am in the "Development Zone". <smirk>
PS. I will stock snickers/chocolate at my desk, so I do NOT ever lose it again. Hopefully!
Very much looking forward to RDi 9.5, but our company downloads the trial, and then applies our license jar for permanent access. So, usually I will have to wait until the trial is release on the main web-site. <darn!>

I'm way behind in this conversation chain, but I wanted to mention that there are times when my Delete (and Enter I believe) keys cease to work. I can't reproduce it, but it seems to be isolated to the source I have open, so if I re-open the source it works. A bit less painful than what you're talking about. Also this happens to me once every couple months. Sucks to hear you're having these issues constantly.

Like the save-icon not working, as the dot-netters laugh, and say it works in Microsoft products. <frown> As they hear me cussing.
Every so often my delete key stops working, cursor disappears. And force to create new workspace. Not very often, but still happens. That does not happen in Microsoft Products.
If I could repeat the error on a consistent basis, I would open dozens of PMR to get these fixed. But it is quirky, and I have no clue why it happens. It "seems" to happen most when I am debugging a program for some strange reason. Not repeatable tough. That is the part that drives me BONKERS!!!! And I KNOW for a fact, I am NOT THE ONLY ONE...

OH well, I need shut-up. I need to get use to re-starting RDI several times during the day. And then maybe re-create new work-space and move on is the motto for this product.
A new release is NO GOOD, if it breaks things that worked fine in a previous release. I hope and pray that IBM does QUALITY control on this release BEFORE releasing it to the public...
Yes, I am skeptical, as past experience have taught me that...

RDI user for over 9-years now. Still a WHOLE LOT BETTER than SEU, even with it occasion "quirks"... <smirk>
