It's definitely something in RDi or the underlying Eclipse platform or its
interaction with the host PC--my guess is it's related to the interaction
with certain video drivers on the PC. It was a regular occurrence for me
in the open member dialog and the source compare dialog (or other random
Eclipse dialogs) until I received a new PC. Since then, I don't think I've
seen it.

I had a day where I couldn't get the dialog to come up correctly. I
thought I would open a PMR on it, so I tried to do a video capture of it
happening. The dialog on my screen was empty until I moused over the
various input fields and buttons--just as Mark describes below. But my
captured video showed everything there the whole time. That was annoying
and frustrating as can be.

Re: [WDSCI-L] iSphere search window display issue

Mark,

That seems to be a problem with RDi or the underlaying Eclipse. I
did not yet had it with the iSphere source file search window, but I
often have it with the "Remote Systems" view.

There is also a ticket at SourceForge where someone described a
similar issue with the iSphere data space editor.

I hope, that we (actually Frank and I) can solve that somehow.

Thomas.

Hi,

I've been meaning to ask people about this for a while but does
anyone else have issues with the isphere source file search window
not displaying properly (see below). Sometimes, but not always, the
window pops up "see-through" and if I wiggle the mouse around over
the window the input capable fields/buttons appear!
