This is interesting. At my previous employer, RDi, upon startup, always
checked with the corporate mothership to ensure the license was still
valid. Is that something my employer set up? I'm not sure what would have
happened if I was offline when that was checked. Since it was on a company
laptop, and I was always online when I used it, I never got to find out for
myself. I think they had a "site" license, unlimited maybe?
Has anyone tried installing RDi on a Windows 10 Technical Preview box?
Buck, just for academic purposes since you mentioned it, my understanding
of the "free" WDSC is that you already need to have possession of the
software as of a date that passed many years ago. Has that changed? Has
IBM made WDSC publicly available now?
