Thanks, Buck. This is very helpful. If I can get myself trained to use this (ha, post-it note already created on desktop), then it'll be even more efficient for me than the tab method, b/c even when tabbing was working, I had to tab 4 times to get to the Replace text field.

type search text
Alt-P
type replacement text
Alt-X to toggle regular expressions
Alt-E to replace all

No mouse needed. I use Emacs, so this doesn't seem that weird to me.
It's not tab, tab but it's not 11 tabs either.
