I updated two installations of IBM Installation Manager today to 1.8.1. One was from 1.8 and the other was from 1.7(.2?). Both updated successfully. Both had automatic update detection on so I applied the update from within the program (vs some other means).

Has anyone installed the new Installation Manager 1.8.1, and used it to check for updates to RDi 9.1 or 9.1.1. Some months ago, I started getting never ending connection retries with Installation Manager 1.8, so I uninstalled and reinstalled to version 1.7..something. I had hopes that 1.8.1, or the new update files for 9.1.1, might have corrected my issue, but 1.8.1 is in an endless connection loop. Can I get an Amen, or a You're crazy man?
