One thing to point out re the “Initial Command” - many people find that it does not appear to work for them.

Reason is that somewhere in the program that is run is a command that is considered “interactive", and since there is no 5250 involved it fails just as it would if you ran it in batch. Most people need to use of copy of their regular initial sign-in program that is customized for RDi to avoid stuff that the OS views as interactive - even if no screen appears when you use it normally.

Right click then connection, select Properties.
In the resulting window, select the subsystem node.
On the Objects tab you'll find a place to set the LIBL.
Alternatively, there's an "initial command" field you can enter a command
invoke that sets the library list. For example, we use Aldon and Aldon
includes a command ACMSLIBL that sets the library list for specified
environment.
For example: ACMSLIBL REL(ML_MODS/OLS_SYSTEM/MIAMILUKEN) ENV(DVP)
DVPNAME(MYUSRNAME)

Is there a way to have Rdi keep my library from one day to the next? I hae
about 15 libraries that I use daily and I really hate having to add them
every day to Rdi....
