The debug hover is different than the RPG hover. The debug hover has the
current value of the variable.
The RPG hover has the type and length info from the declaration. When in
debug more, the debug hover takes precedence so you can tell what the value
of the variable is.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDi 9.1 Debug variable Not showing type/size
Sent by: "WDSCI-L" <wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi,

I am using RDi 9.1 in debug mode. And I seem to be no longer getting the
field type in debug...

I have this turned on:
Windows>Preferences>Run/Debug>Compiled Debug>Debug Editors
CHECK-BOX: CHECKED for "display types in hover"...

But inside debug, it is now showing the variable type/size...
<Big Frown>

I do get the type in LPEX with Hover, but not Debug mode.

Does someone still have RDi 9.0.1, and does it show the type/size on the
mouse hover in Debug-Mode? Am I missing a setting?

Should I open an PMR on this issue?

PS. Maybe I have to do the Content-Assistance? But, I could have sworn I
use it have that great feature. I have uninstalled the old RDi 9.0.1. So, I
cannot test that myself. My PC is loaded up, so I remove it to get more
disk space...
