SEU is a heck of a lot less complicated than RDi...

It's also been around a heck of a lot longer...

I for one find the benefits outway the little UI bugs...

I have many different compiles for an RPGLE:

So, I usually always pull up the compile menu.

But, often I do NOT have the compile menu. So, I click on another tab, and
force a "RE-PAINT". And voila! The compile menu options suddenly appear.

I have been trying to encourage my co-workers to use RDI. They say it is
NOT STABLE. And I don't ever have that problem with SEU, so I will stick
with SEU.

Sadly, a few that I showed RDi 9.0.1 have gone back to SEU...

But, a few are using RDI, but claim it is "buggy"...

Basically with RDi 9, I just have a lot of repaint issue. But, most of the
shortcut keys for me. And It seems that the Recompile "Ctrl+Shift+C" does
require me to also do the "Two-Stroke" once in a while, now that you
mention it...

I often have to hit Ctrl-Shift-C twice to get a compile to work, but other
things like Ctrl-S seem to work every time. I haven't figured out the
pattern. I figured I wasn't correctly holding down all the keys for the
compile issue, but maybe there is something else going on.

Hi,

Has anyone reported the Dreaded "Two Stroke" for using the Shortcut menu?

Continually, I have to press the shortcut key twice to get functions.
(Cntrl+f10 or Right-click with mouse)...

I never remember this happening on previous reversion of Rational...

If no one has reported this to IBM, I can open on a PMR, if no one has
reported this already. I hope it is fixed in the next release.

I guess I could open up a PMR to verify that IBM knows about this. To the
Newbies, that makes the software look like crap... <sorry>
