Oh and one more thing. On the Optional properties tab put your cursor
in the Property input and press F1. You will get a help up that has a
link to additional properties you can select.

Thanks, Matt

Go to the properties page for the connection. Select the Driver
Properties, in the section labeled Properties there is an Optional Tab.
Type in "naming" into the Property input and "system" into the Value
input, now click on Add. Restart the connection. You should be able to
query without the qualified library. You might or will have an issue
with dates; mine results are showing mm/mm/yy formatted dates.

Thanks, Matt

Thanks Ken!

That seems to have fixed the problem and I also tested it without having
to qualify each field with it's library name and a dot preceding it!

What I did do is (as you suggested), was add /prodlib to the host name
and then for the heck of it I added the relational database name (as
seen when you start a green screen strsql session) for the schema value.
Not sure it that makes any difference but things seem to be working.

Thanks for a quick (and awesome) response.
