I've noticed both of these as well, but I don't consider the second one an issue.
The first does have an option to enable the trim when you save the source (Preferences | LPEX Editor | Save), but I have always been worried about global source changes like that in case they affect the SRCDAT on the source member. (If we had a proper version control system then I wouldn't mind so much...)

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Trailing blanks
I have noticed that when I am in the LPEX editor, that it seems like trailing blanks are not being trimmed. I am using RDi 9.0.1. I distinctly remember when using earlier versions, even WDSC, that when I was in the editor, and I pressed the END key on my keyboard, that the cursor went to the last character of the line I was on. Now I see when I press END, that the cursor goes to the end of the last space on the line.
Also, when I press CTRL+S to split a line, on prior versions, the text to the right of the cursor would be pushed to the next line, and would be left justified, so the beginning of the text was in column 1. Now, when I press CTRL+S, the text is moved to the next line in the exact same position.
Has anyone else experienced these things? Do I have a setting set incorrectly? No matter where I look, I seem to have everything set correctly.
Thank you,
Doug
