The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

HTML is very common, why is it not included by default has always perplexed me...
The older WDSC had almost every tool under the sun, including HTML and
XML if I recall rightly. The almost universal feedback was 'this thing
is too complicated' so IBM took it all out.
The whole idea behind RDi is to be one inclusive environment for development...
Well... not exactly. Rational have unbundled the web-ish bits from the
green screen bits and they sell the additional stuff for an additional
fee. There are 3 'packaging options':
1) RPG and COBOL Tools. Green screen tooling.
2) RPG and COBOL + Modernization Tools, Java Edition—includes a rich
subset of the Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software
product including several of the new V9.0 enhancements to that offering
which include support for the latest version of the WebSphere
Application Server Liberty profile, and enhancements to tools for
developing web and mobile web application front ends.
3) RPG and COBOL + Modernization Tools, EGL Edition—includes Rational
Developer for i RPG and COBOL Tools, V9.0 and Rational Business
Developer, V9.0 (
