Doug,
I have use Rational Developer with java....
It "slightly" interferes with my iProjects, in that all the project go in the same folder... If you do NOT have too many projects, not a big deal...
Others use a Separate workspace for their java...
But, since Rational Developer is based on Eclipse, it can handle java!
But, the little I play around with java, I just use a separate Eclipse Session outside of RDi 9.0.1. I use the Current Eclipse Kepler 4.3.1
And by default, I don't think the Rational Developer includes a "HTML" editor for some reason. I might be confused on this.
Regardless, I normally use a stand-alone eclipse for java 7. Just one man's opinion...
<grin>

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDi and Java 7
I have been asked if I would like to take part in a pilot/test installation of Java 7 on my PC. I know RDi uses Java, but I think it uses its own copy of Java.
Has anyone had any experience using RDi with Java 7? I have RDi 9.0.1 installed.
Thank you,
Doug
