Thank you. It was the License Key center I needed to go to.

Hi Jack,

It will depend upon how you purchased RDP, IBM does not normally deliver
licences for RDP/RDI via email...

If you purchased it through eConfig/ESS then you would donwload the .iso
image that contains the license from ESS. Note that if you have not already
done so, with ESS you have to explicitly order v9 as new versions of
products do not automatically become available to you. There is no charge
to order the upgrade if you are entitled to it - though there may be a cost
for media if you order that.

If you purchased through Passport Advantage then you will want to go to the
Rational License Key Center to download the version 9 activation kit.
Unlike with ESS, if you are entitled to v9 then the activation kit will be
available for you to download.

The only other thing that I can think of is that your Business Partner
purchased it for you and emailed the activation kit to you. Only you and
your BP know for sure ;)

Mike

I have the permanent license for RDP 8.5 installed on my PC.

I downloaded and installed 9.0. I need to import my activation kit, but I
can't find the darn thing.

I can't even remember if I downloaded the license or got it an email. Can
anyone help remind me how to get the file again? The license manager is
asking for a .Jar.

Thanks, Jack
