I have occasionally experienced this also. In my case, it usually happens
because of the Live Outline process trying to update everything in the
outline.

annoying, to say the least.
Maybe use an ArrayList<String>, instead of String[]?
I've also fiddled enough with the JVM settings.
Hopefully more work is done on the overall user experience, instead of
working the bullit list of features.
