Your explanation is very clear, thanks.

But perhaps you could indicate to whoever is in charge of labeling the cds that if they would use the word license or activation instead of the word tool, it would have saved both me and IBM time and money.

And the support team should be told about this cd. The guy working my PMR did not know about the activation cd he only knew about Passport advantage activation.
