I'm sure there's been a lot of discussion on list about the value the Outline provides. Whether it applies to you would be another story.

I use it for a lot of things, but primarily I use it to navigate. Either to a procedure, or to where that procedure is called from. You can do the same through Find, but I find click navigation to be faster for me.

The even greater benefit to me is that content-assist uses the information built by the outline. So w/o the outline, content assist would be crippled. At least that's my understanding.

Question is alright to use the "LIVE OUTLINE" again?

Anybody having problem with Live-Parsing?

To this day I can't figure out what the value-add is for the outline view. So I pretty much only look at it when someone posts a question here. Having said that, I discovered that my live outline has been turned on ever since I installed 9.0.1 and RDi has been smooth as silk for me - I didn't even know I had live outline turned on.

My workspace is on my local PC, not on a network drive.
