Ken

Which version are you on? Current is 9.0.0.1 - go to the usual place in Windows - the Help menu - then click on "About Rational Developer for i"
and see what you have.

If you are not at 9.0.0.1 at least, then get the update.

There's also a fixpack coming out this Friday - 9.0.1 - it adds free-form syntax processing to RDi 9, for one thing. I know of one other item related to showing block nesting, which will be very cool, IMO.

Hi,

Now using RDi 9.0, and copy some old Fixed format code and pasting into a new member....

Approximate line count, about 100 lines of code. So not very big....

Then I right Click and select "Convert to Free"....

This is where RDI 9.0 seems to be constantly locking up on me. I get the "Milky White Screen", and not responding....

Why does this happen? Is there something I can do to stop this from happening? I did this on previous versions with no issues...
