Ken,

I've seen that behavior with a lot of navigation keys--left, right, up &
down arrow-keys, page-up, and page-down. I believe that the problem is
something with Windows, Java, or Eclipse trying to be efficient by not
re-painting the screen when a lot of movement is happening. (I'm no
expert here, just trying to think logically.) I don't think it has
anything to do with the outline update as I see the problem when editing
CL, COBOL, and DDS as well.

I can see it's more efficient for the PC, but it wreaks havoc on those of
us trying to quickly navigate through a source member when you can't tell
where you're at. I probably should open a PMR. I'll try to do that later
today--I've got a few appointments to get through this morning.

Re: [WDSCI-L] Some keys quit working

I have turned off syntax check on the server for SQLRPGLE. And I
have the out refresh of the outline view also turned off.

But, holding down the right/left Arrow key is very sporadic. The
cursor disappears...

Tapping the Arrow keys, instead of hold it down, works faultlessly
however...
