Just to clarify, if you go to the RDi trial download page
(
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/downloads/r/rdi/), there are 4 zips.
All are for RDi (none are Data Studio). Data Studio trial has its own
download page (link on the RDi trial download page).
Basically, you unzip all into one folder and then start the launchpad from
disk1.
Note: if you download from Passport Advantage, there are 4 zips for RDi.
If you download from ESS, there are 2 images for RDi.

Those 4 pieces include 2 for Data Studio - you don't need that.
Get the one for disk one of RDi - that's all you really need.
