Hi,

I've had some problems with 'help' before, but when I pressed F1 in RPG* code the help screen would come up and remain blank for ever. Is that what you are seeing? This was fixed by adding the following -D line to the eclipse.ini file in the program folder containing eclipse.exe. (Shift-right-click your RDi icon and selecting "Open file location" should open the correct folder. Or right-click the same icon, select properties and press the "open file location" button. I'm on Win7, but I think all windows versions back to WinXP allowed these "open file location" features.)

-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Rdi 9.x Help Failure

Hi Group,

I just upgraded my PC and installed V9 fresh on Win7 Pro. I have
since added the V9.0.0.1 upgrade and through all of this I have
been unable to get the F1 key to do anything at all. No help. Going
to the Help Menu and choosing Help Contents has no result. I'm
stumped. I have tried every solution I could find on the web with
no results. When I start it up it briefly claims to be
initializing/updating help. Anybody have a suggestion? Thanks.
