Terry,

I don't know of any video to show the differences....

But, in a nutshell, RDP 8.0/8.5 are based on Eclipse 3.7, while the newer RDI 9.0 is based on Eclipse 4.2. So the navigation is a little bit different. I sorted of like it, once I got used to it anyway! Sadly, I don't have license to RDI 9.0, but had the demo for 60-days...

I have been playing with later versions of Eclipse for my Java Learning, so I became familiar with the newer version of eclipse. You can still do some of the old things, just that we do NOT have the nice pop-up menu for fast view. As I remember, it is more mouse dragging now...

A video on the difference would be pretty cool however!

Scroll down to see some of the new things...
One nice feature is the improved hover for procedures with call signature! :)

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Rational Developer for i videos

I've been using Rational Developer X since WDSCbut haven't install RDi 9 yet. Are there any updated videos or any documentation where I can see the differences between 8.5 and 9.0? I'd like to have an idea of what I am getting into before I start. One thing that concerns me is something I read about fast paths being different, and I use them all the time on 8.5.1.
