Buck,

Okay, using NotePad++, you can create your own custom language coloring schema! For instance I created one for ILERPG...

So, I don't Cut & Paste into NotePad++, but rather open the downloaded source to edit. I would MUCH rather edit inside of LPEX, rather than have to resort to using NotePad++. Other have used iProjects, and then open it up with a Text Editor. That also works!

I remember a LONG TIME ago, going NUTS using OPNQRYF, and matching up those @#$@!#$ DARN QUOTES!! <Frustration!> And then someone showed me to use a programmer editor to line up the quotes! That is when I first fell in love in color syntax Editors. Of course I haven't used OPNQRYF in about 20-years! <LOL>

Ah, now I understand. For some reason matching braces / quotes /
delimiters isn't a pain point for me personally. Not sure why at the
moment; I'll have to think on it I guess but off the top of my head I
think it's because I don't tend to use a lot of literals in my code.

It's a very clever way to make your life better!

Interestingly, not even my beloved Code/400 has tokens for RPG literals.
