Danny - Do you mean 5250 sessions? Or the remote command sessions used by RDi? 5250 sessions would not have anything to do with this that I know of.

It does seem worth looking at WRKOBJLCK for the user profile of the OP, that would identify anything still hanging on. I doubt there will be anything, but who knows.

This scenario is why I like having a machine at the office to make an RDP connection over VPN. Then if the VPN connection drops, nothing is lost on that machine. When I reconnect, all is ready to go.

I don't have that setup now, unfortunately - need a machine, anyhow, at the office, and that isn't in the offing.

I would look on your i series and see what sessions you have going there, one might have been left open and need shutting down. Just a SWAG based on previous experiences.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Can't start RDi (V8)

Hello,

My VPN connection dropped and after I got it started again I was not able to start RDi. I tried rebooting my PC, but still unable to start RDi. When I try to start it, I get an error window saying to see the log file in eclipse\ibm.software.delivery.platform_8.0.0_1655873425\configuration. When I checked the log file, there is this message in the log file java.lang.IllegalStateException: MetadataRepositoryManager not registered. I'm not sure what this error means or if this is my real problem. Any help is greatly appreciated. Working in SEU stinks.

Thanks,
Kent Hohlen
