Jon, say I hover my mouse over the T_Command parameter to the LIKE keyword
above, I will see a hover showing the T_Command defintion. If I hold down
the Ctrl key as well, the T_Command paramenter turns blue and underlined
indicating that it is now a hyperlink. If I then left-click on it, it
navigates to the T_Command definition.
I hope your Mac emulator does not interfere with this behaviour because it
is very nice.

Jon,

For example, if your are editing a RPGLE source member and you see a
line in your code that calls a procedure, you can press the CTRL button
and hover over the procedure name to "turn" it into a hyperlink. You
can then click the hyperlink and it will take you to the beginning of
the code for the procedure. It also works on variables. Clicking on
the hyperlink in that case will take you to where the variable is
defined in your code.

Well I have V9, I have dynamic turned on, and I still get nothing.

Perhaps I am missing the point - the OP mentioned "hyperlink" and
perhaps my understanding of what that means is unclear. Maybe Edmund or
somebody else who understands the context can give a little more precise
description of what is supposed to happen.

This will work in ILE RPG using RDi 8.5.1 and later using the dynamic

If you are using the static outline, it will not work as it require
the new live model to find definitions.

Robert or Kurt

Please tell me (us) where this works - I tried it in a source editor
and seemed to get nothing.

Found something in preferences about hyperlinks, nothing easily found
in help text.

Thanks
Vern

That is it Kurt. Thanks.

I could swear I tried that before and it didn't work, but it does
now.

Hi Robert,

Press and hold the control key. Then cursor over what you want to be

created as a hyperlink and click.

This is a pretty sweet functionality that I use a lot more than I
ever thought I would.

What is the shortcut to "activate" the hyperlink function when
editing a RPGLE source? I have looked around, but haven't been able
to find it.

Thanks,
