There is no RDi 9.0.0.1 available currently. Whenever there is a new
fixpack, there will be a posting for it.
Note: RDAIXLinux 9.0.0.1 fixpack became available last Friday.

The reference to 9.0.0.1 leads me to believe there is an update
available...or soon to be. I ran the Installation Manager and it reported
no updates available yet.

Thanks Kurt,
That scenario is just the one that my 9.0.0.1 enhancement should fix.

Hi Edmund,
In my case, I believe I was modifying a large volume of programs (adding a
line of code to each one). These programs around 1k+ lines of code with
lots of service program references and file references. I just opened up
a large number and had my memory cap boost up to 632 (was around 300 I
think). Of that 632, I'm only using 413, but I didn't exactly replicate
what I was doing the other day (it's not a fast grow, so it's not an easy
thing to replicate immediately).

Very interesting.
Can you tell me a little about what you were doing when you experienced the
memory build up.
Are you resolving DB files with lots of fields in the live outline.
There is an in memory cache that is currently unbounded.
In Rdi 9.0,0.1 there is an enhancement to make sure that the memory cache
does not grow without bounds.
Please try that and let me know if it resolves your problems.

Unfortunately I have also experienced the memory leak in RDi V9.0. Not as
severe as RDP V8.5 though; nothing where it was maxed out. But from just
15 minutes of usage I have seen it creep up past 500K, 600K or so and it
started around 100K. Some increase is expected, but when you're working
with the LPEX Editor or the Search function and that's about all I was
doing, I don't think it would explode that much. Sounds like there is
still some leakage problems going on.

I had my IDE become nearly unresponsive yesterday so I turned on the heap
allocation display and saw it was maxed at ~1024.
Has anyone experienced a memory leak in 9.0? Has it been reported?
I haven't had it happen since, but am keeping an eye on my heap allocation
now.
