Thanks you for this Vern. I've had a suggestion that we're missing ptfs, and will post if we are and installing them fixes the problem. I'll raise an RFE as per your suggestion if not.

This actually makes sense. A library can be visible in only one active-in-job iASP at a time - you can have the same library name in different iASPs but you can set only one of those. And if you have a library in *SYSBAS, it can't be in any iASP.

Now one solution would be to have the program you are debugging in a *SYSBAS library - this would be a short-term solution, unless IBM can't or won't make a change.

I suggest that this is a valid requirement, worth submitting. You can use the RFE process over on developerworks. (http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe is the link, I think.) Or go to http://www.common.org, click on the Community tab, log in (get a user and password if you're not a COMMON member), and submit a requirement there. Or submit a DCR - design change request. Look up DCR in these archives, there should be something to tell you how to do it.

Vern

I wonder if anyone has encountered this problem. We have a machine with two iAsps on a single partition and the RDP users work from within either iASP 1 or iASP 2. When we stop and start the debug server (ENDDBGSVR/STRDBGSVR), Service Entry Points can only be set in RDP when the setting user has the same iASP group as the user who started the debug server. Users who try to set an SEP in an RPG program from the other iAsp get an error 'Server: CPF9810 Library ABC cannot be found', where ABC is the name of the library containing the rpg program. Is there a way we can set up the debug server so that is works simultaneously for both iASPS ?

Thanks,
Jeremy
