I think he's saying if you have one object filter that lists sourcefiles, you can expand those sourcefiles to see the members.
As opposed to say a JD Edwards shop that has everything in JDESRC sourcefile and needs member filters by member type to subset.

May be I misunderstood what you said originally. Because based on your last email, it sounds like you're asking why I'm not doing what I actually am doing. So let's try to clear this up.

For example, in a version of our billing software we may have the following source files:
QRPG
QDDS
QCL
QSQL

So in this case I'd have 4 filters within the pool. Is that what you're saying?
