Hi Ken
I understand now what you are asking for. Please open an RFE, asking for
the ability to reorder record formats within DDS Designer

Edmund,

The order of the Formats in the Display file....

Order Record
60 CMDKEY01
70 EMPTY001
80 WDWSFL02
90 WINDOW02
100 DUMMY
110 WDWSFL_CNF
120 F10CONFRM
130 WDWSFL_SUR
140 SUBMIT_SUR
150 SFLDTL02
160 SFLCTL02
170 CMDKEY02
180 EMPTY002

Record/Formats 150-"SFLDT02", 160-"SFLCTL02", 170-"CMDKEY02" &
180-"EMPTY002" should be under 90-"WINDOW02"

Inside of SDA, I just change the "order" to manual resquence the
Record-Formats...

I already use the "SORT" on the Design tab, to sort my fields in order on
the format themselves! Very Handy!
Just like the Old SDA 4=Work with Fields & F6=Sort by row/column.
<Big Smile>

So, I need to be able to "RE-ORDER" the Record-Formats, other than Cutting
& pasting in source code, like the OLD SDA...

Just figure it out there somewhere, and I am missing it...
<frown>

I have learned RDP over the past 8-years, by FORCING myself to Do
EVERYTHING inside this Great IDE.

Hi Ken
I don't understand the question.
Are you trying to sort text constants alphabetically?
We only support sorting by row/column (right click on the record to get the
context menu) I am not aware of an SDA sort function that Rdp DDS Designer
does not support.

Hi,

Inside SDA, you can re-order the format very easily...
Ex: Change "050 MYFMT001" to "040 MYFMT001" to change the order.

How is that done inside RDP DDS Designer, I can't seem to find it...

Does anyone know how to do this inside the RDP DDS Design perspective?
