Ken, I'm sad to see your post, because I thought that was just a "feature"
of WDSCi 7 (hoping to get RDP, but the budget hasn't yet allowed that).
Further, hoping that "feature" would no longer be available in the licensed
product...

I see that sometimes in the SEP debugger when I try to monitor expressions
that involve a data structure, particularly when there is any nested arrays
involve. I click the "+" to expand the array, immediately think "Oh, I
shouldn't have done that...", and then I see all those messageboxes begin
to fly by. Typically within 10 seconds, it's overwhelmed WDSCi, and the
whole dang session is gone. I don't even get to kill it.

I feel your pain. Best wishes for us all.

Michael

Hi,

Inside RDP 8.5.1. I get the dialog of "DEATH LOOP"...
<smirk>

Does anyone get the dreaded Debug Engine Message dialog with "DBE0001E
Expression xxxxxxxxxxxx is too complex."....

Where it keep painting modal dialog, until it reaches the top, and keeps
going and going.

I had to click the "OK" button 100's of times. And then it just does it
again....

In this case, I happen to evaluate a global variable inside a procedure.
And then when I step out of the procedure. And expand the variable. It goes
NUTS repeating this dialog, and no time out....

The only fix is to manual kill debug and JAVAW too...
