LPEX commands by entering a leading question mark "?" on the LPEX
command line.

from the lpex command line:
set print.font courier-regular-10
print selection

this produced a good result!

query print.font returns the current print font

still looking for a font that represents zero and capital letter o so
they are easily distinguished
