Terry,

Also handy with Qualified/Complex data structures. Start typing data structure name, and use content assist, not only will it finish the ds name, but after the period, it will give you a list of subfields that you can select from.

I like that I can use it to get information about the size and type of a field. Also the auto-completion of long procedure names because I tend to get verbose. Didn't know that it could either. I tried it with both RPGLE and RPG source members but the latter gave me nothing. Not supported?

Sorry Terry, I mistook your comment as one that you had evaluated CA and didn't care for it so didn't use it.

It does as Eric stated. One thing I like a lot is being able to cursor to a field then pressing ctrl-space to get the data definition. Usually I use it for auto-completion which is especially helpful with longer variable names.

Kurt - I'm always looking for features of RDp that I don't use to see if they can make my job easier and make me more efficient. Since I don't know anything about content assist because I don't understand its features, I thought now was an appropriate time to ask.

All - how does content assist show "source information"? Can someone give me an example? Is there a place where I can read about it?
