Dave, a few years ago I had success selling the cost of upsizing programmer
monitors to 22" wide format from the then standard 17 or 19 old "tv" format.

Our standard is now one 22" wide format with at least one more screen.

The person in charge of the budget was and is on the stingy side but when
I broke out daily savings based on company hourly cost for someone like me,
the numbers were compelling, even to the one formerly known as stingy.

RDp is about 6x the cost of a monitor, but I think you can easily account
for that by doing a cost/benefit presentation based on your experience.

Good luck.

I mostly use the verifier, too, although running WDSCi while using some of the
6.1 enhancements is growing annoying. Since the performance of our dev system is pretty erratic, I continue to prefer the verifier anyway. If I could just convince someone to shell out for an RDP seat...

From reading the other posts I must be the odd man out. I use verify a lot.
For me it is quick and accurate. Using the verifier is my preferred
method of identifying and eliminating coding errors. Once I have the
errors taken care of, then I compile.
