Try this:
Open the offending program source in RDP
On the Source menu, select Verify(Prompt)...
on Program Verification Options, select Cache on the left side,
then check the Refresh cache option on the left

This step should clear any problems caused by old source that is now
out of sync with another source member such as a changed display
file or such like...

Double check the RDP error list is clean, if not, fix all

I recently worked several days with IBM on this and they said
in their experience this is caused by something RDP cannot handle
in the remote source file you are editing.

It seems there must be more than one cause.

My experience does back this up, but I share your frustration...hope this helps!

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDP 8.0.3.1 abends with outline view refresh

I haven't seen this for a while, but now I have a program that causes RDP to abend when I try to refresh the outline view. The program compiles and functions correctly on the i5. I tried creating a new workspace with the same result.

Any suggestions?
