I have a tab called "Remote Scratch Pad" which is a bit confusing at first but you can drag standard RSE filter items into it as a temporary storage space while you do other RSE research.

It can hold only filter objects not filters or filter pools.

Thanks, Matt

yes but when I click on note pad then back to properties, it's the note pad
information that is displayed in the properties tab. I can click back on
the object in RSE and that resets everything.

Is there not a 'Properties' Tab next to the Note Pad tab?

When I click on an object in an RSE filter to look at the properties panel,
I see another tab that says <Remote note pad> (my translation). Don't know
what this is, but if I select it then click back on <Properties>, it's the
notepad that now shows in the properties panel.
Just sayin'
