Re: Convert to free and retain source member line date question

I was thinking perhaps of a Rube Goldberg way of saving the old source and then updating the new source from the old source by RRN, but considering the fact that you have to insert /free and /end-free, it would be awfully tough.

Sorry, nothing comes to mind...


One of my programmers asked the following regarding using WDSCi:

"When converting to free form, is there anyway to keep the date from
updating on the source lines?
Some kind of setting change perhaps?"

My answer was "Good question and I don't know."

Two other programmers responded they didn't know of any way to prevent the
line date from changing.

Does anyone know if this can be done?
