This is in FREE. I don't remember what section of code I was in when this
happened, but I will keep an eye out for it happening again and email you
the code. I did notice it also happens on BEGSR. I was in a procedure and
wanted to enter a subroutine for some code that is used in several places in
the procedure. The ENDSR did not automatically get entered after I entered
the BEGSR. I had to manually enter it.

Is this free or fixed form? Also, could you provide some sample code to
help me reproduce the scenario?
We made some changes to how the automatic block closure works, which may
be what you're running into. If the parser detects that your IF statement
already has a matching ENDIF, it no longer always automatically inserts a
new ENDIF statement. Prior to this it would always insert an ENDIF
regardless of whether one existed already or not. So for this reason
sometimes automatic block insertion will not happen at the first level.
You can see whether the parser can find a matching ENDxx statement by
pressing Ctrl+Shift+O.
In your specific example, is it possible that your IF statement had a
matching ENDIF somewhere inside your DOW block?

I was inside a DOW loop in my code. I entered a new IF statement and
pressed Enter. It did not close the IF block with an ENDIF. I finished
entering the code for the IF block and closed it myself by entering the
ENDIF. I then immediately entered a new IF block and when I pressed Enter
the ENDIF was automatically entered.

Robert, could you explain what you mean when you say it does not work in
all circumstances? Is there a specific scenario where this is no longer
working for you?

This automatic closure of control blocks in nested loops DOES NOT work in
all circumstances. Plus, now at level one, where it previously always
worked, it doesn't always work anymore.
