Hi Ken,
Its nice to hear that the scary problems are gone.
For issue#1, we can open an enhancement request. I think I have heard this
complaint from others as well.
For issue #2, I never noticed that before. I can reproduce this problem as
well.
Eric please create work items for these two.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDP V8.0 so far...
Sent by: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx
I've now had a chance to use RDP V8.0 more in depth, and so far it appears
things are much more stable. Issues I encountered during my use of RDP
V7.6 appear to be gone. For example, I have yet to lose any source code in
Screen Designer, and other oddities have also disappeared. Even the
preview tab in Screen Designer is working correctly!
I do have a couple of smaller issues though...they do have workarounds so
it's not a great annoyance but would be nice to get fixed.
-- In Screen Designer, you can view the screen using "Browse With..." but
can't click on some of the buttons in the Properties box. For example, you
can't click the Indicators... buttons to see the values that were used.
You must check out the display in order to do this, or switch to the source
view and locate the information that way. What would be nice is being able
to click on the buttons and see the values (but not be able to edit them
when in Browse mode).
-- Also in Screen Designer, when adding a field onto the Subfile Control
part of the screen, as soon as you finish editing, the view suddenly flips
to the Subfile. For example, when editing a Text Constant on a Subfile
Control, as soon as you click in another area of the screen, it switches to
the Subfile screen. You have to go back up to the Design Page Screen
Controls section and click on the Subfile Control screen ID (under the
Records tab in the Included window) to get back to the Subfile Control
screen. It should stay unless I specifically switch to it.
