It seems logical that there would at least be some bug fixes, but there doesn't appear to be anywhere to find that info.

You can run it in Linux now - just what you needed, right? That appears
to be the only change related to i development. Everything else they
list under what's new relate to AIX and Linux and C/C++ (probably NOT on

Well, I've had a bit more time to play around with RDP 8 and I can tell you a bit more:

If you are using a 3rd party plug-in designed to work with RDI 7.5, RDP 7.5, or RDP 7.6, there's a good possibility that it will not work with RDI 8.0. It may not even install.

This is primarily due to the removal of a feature& plug-in that the 3rd party plug-in may be dependent on ... and the change from Eclipse 3.2 to 3.6 (which changed the RSE framework slightly).

Some of the issues appear to be relatively easy to work around ... others, not so much.
