Not sure, but doesn't that imply that you're running a 32-bit JVM?
It's possible that you need to download the 64-bit Sun JDK and point
Eclipse at it.
Normal eclipse has no problem running with a 32bit JVM on a 64bit system.

Windows 7 64bit has never had a problem running a 32 bit application (well, mostly).

The JVM=13 seems to be a known error. It has to do with a mismatch between the Eclipse runtime and the JVM. I've seen several threads on this, including one that sounds very similar to yours:

--------
Could the issue be tied to the fact i have installed JDK 6 for windows x64 and downloaded and unzipped eclipse 3.5 for windows 32 at

http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/release/galileo/sr 2 <http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/release/galileo/sr2>

i didnt see a eclipse IDE for javvaEE developers in windows 32 bit?
--------

This from a thread that starts with exit code=1 but segues to 13:

64-bit Windows. Nobody will ever need more than 640K of memory... >>sigh<<
