Not sure, but doesn't that imply that you're running a 32-bit JVM?
It's possible that you need to download the 64-bit Sun JDK and point
Eclipse at it.

OK, this is an absolute knee-jerk reaction ... but I just downloaded& installed RDP 8.0.
Right out of the box ... it doesn't work correctly with Windows 7 Enterprise x64 without running it as administrator.
I get a message "Java was started but returned exit code=13".
If it's launched as administrator, it seems to work OK.
