No, I don't think so. My user id has full authority to the ini file.
I'm beginning to think it's a basic incompatibility between Win7 x64 and RDP (and RDI) ... a bit more testing indicates that, if I set the 'compatibility' mode to XP SP 3 it appears to work fine.
I *THOUGHT* I had seen RDP on the list of Rational products that are compatible with Win7 X64 ... but it appears I was mistaken (

I'm going to continue investigating the XP compatibility mode to see if I can get further.
