You may already know, but v7.0 is free and better than v6.0, so there's no cost to upgrading (aside from the minor hassle of upgrading).

should be a property in Preferences called "Text file
encoding". Search for it by typing "encoding" in the search
field at the top of the preferences navigation bar. On my
installation (Rdi-SOA), this property is in "General >
Workspace". You will probably need to select ISO-8859, (just
guessing here)...


Wow you're right Eric, still stuck on V6 and likely to remain so. But I looked everywhere in the preferences without finding anything. Don't see a search field either.
