I finally received my full set of CDs from IBM for the new Rational
Business Developer 7.5.1, RDi and "RD for Power Systems RPG & Cobol
Development Tools for i" (what a mouthful).
Anyway, I have uninstalled the previous version of RBD and RDi that I
had, and am attempting to install the new version, beginning with the
RBD installation.
I was forced to update the installation manager in order to continue,
and was able to do so successfully and continue installing RBD. But
once I click the install button, I receive a
'java.lang.NullPointerException' error. There is no detail on the
error.
My system is Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
Does anyone have any ideas? I have searched the archives without
success.
