The products that can be installed together (IBM calls it "shell sharing") have to be on the same Eclipse level. The 7.0 products are Eclipse 3.2 based, and the 7.5 products are Eclipse 3.4 based.
Unless you're targeting an old WAS version (pre-6.0, I think) or aren't current on RAD maintenance, you should be able to install RAD 7.5.

That was my gut feeling... can RAD 7.0 not really be integrated with RDi 7.5?
I have a call out to support, but they didn't know the answer right away with the tech I got...

Chad,
RAD 7.0 corresponds to WDSC 7.0 level. RAD 7.5 corresponds to the RDi 7.5 level.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Installing RAD v7.0
Sent by: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx
We recently installed RDi 7.5 and our developers made a pretty seamless jump to it from WDSC 7. RAD was ordered last week and I received V7.0 yesterday. I went to install it today and have a choice of two install
packages:
The 'old' WDSC v7 package
The 'new' RDi 7.5 package
My goal is to integrate this with the RDi 7.5 package because that's what the developers will continue to use (and the WDSC 7.0 will be uninstalled in the near future). The install manager tells me that the RAD v7.0 cannot coexist with the RDi 7.5 install package.
We ordered this through an IBM business partner who seems not quite up to speed with recent RDi/RAD announcements (in fact, they had to order RAD for us through a 3rd party because they are not quite certified yet to sell it). My suspicion is that we need RAD v7.5 instead of RAD v7.0 for what we are trying to accomplish...
