The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
I think we have an documented requirement to give users of CODE "Power
User" authority on their PC. I remember this being documented in the
CODE/400 installation manual. Also, I think Extras needs to be enabled
(points to C:\WDSC\Extras on my PC), to enable code macro support...

Subject: [WDSCI-L] CODE on Windows 7 and/or Vista
I don't have access to either of the above so I can't test but ...
WDSC 7 needs write access to the hosts file in order to launch CODE
from RSE. It appears (from a query I have from a client) that even an
Administrator does not have write access to the hosts file under these
OS. Can anyone who uses WDSC/CODE on these OS let me know how they
handled it - or if indeed given the new security model whether it is
even possible.
