The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

For an end-user I agree completely.
As a plug-in developer, I find VM's a life saver ... due to the way Eclipse manages plug-in's it's very hard to actually uninstall one ... so being able to revert a VM to a previous snapshot (before a plug-in was installed) saves me untold hours of work. But, as I said, that's ONLY because I'm a plug-in developer.
