RDi v7.5 - cannot connect to systems

I installed the trial version of RDi and was able to connect to my
development system fine, I then installed the Aldon plug-in and now cannot
connect to my system. I am able to connect fine in WDSCi 7. I submitted a
ticket to Aldon, but thought I would post here as well to see if anyone
has any suggestions.

An unknown error occurred connecting to PDPSYSD. Check if you have
connection to the host. If the connection is not broken, check that TCP/IP
is configured correctly on the local machine and all host servers are
started on PDPSYSD.

I know the connection path is available because I have no problem
connecting in WDSCi. I even created a new workspace in RDi, but still can
not connect.
