Or you could just open the member using the Lpex editor. It will create a text file in your workspace. It won't have a .txt extension so you would have to change that. This is really only useful for occasional use. It's a bit cumbersome for regular large scale use.

You create an iSeries Project then import remote objects. See the iSeries Project perspective. There is a preferences setting for iSeries Projects to remove source line numbers and dates on download, if you wish.
